Scripture Reading for Sunday
Isaiah 7:10-16
Matthew 11:2-11
ALL ARE INVITED! Advent Discipleship Opportunity:  The book Celebrating Abundance: Devotions for Advent, by Walter Brueggemann, will be available for anyone who would like a daily devotional to use during Advent. Each week during our Sunday School hour we will gather to share and discuss what struck us from the previous week’s readings. Come if you’ve read none, one, seven, or anything in-between as we talk about our experience and celebration of abundance! All are invited and encouraged to participate!

Blue Christmas: Please join us for our Blue Christmas service today at 3:00 pm. This will be a sacred space created within a worship service, for anyone living through a dark time (grief, depression, anxiety, illness, uncertainty, etc.) in this season of supposed joy and light. It will be a reflective service, offering acceptance for wherever people really are, focusing on the comfort and companionship God offers, and holding out the invitation of healing, hope, and transformation through God’s unconditional love.

Advent Vespers: All are invited to a new worship service each Sunday evening during Advent. We will gather at 5:30 pm in the Sanctuary for a brief (30 minute) service of meditative singing, scriptures, silence, and prayer. In the midst of all of the festivities and stress at this time of year, we hope this service will provide a time, place, and sacred space to breathe. Come and experience the presence of God in stillness.
Christmas Eve:  Please join us for our Christmas Eve service on Tuesday, December 24, at 7:00 pm. We will have a time of fellowship after the service. Feel free to bring desserts or snacks to share.
Christmas Joy Offering: This offering contributes to the Assistance Program of the Presbyterian Board of Pensions, schools and colleges equipping communities of color and leadership development for people of color. Look for more information and offering envelopes in the bulletin insert and the pews.
Thanks to a $3000 grant from Presbyterian Mission Agency Restricted Funds, WRPC and Nihitaa' Binaanish, Our Father's Business, will be able to improve housing like this one on the Navajo Nation south of Gallup.  Look for opportunities to serve on this project in 2020.  And Praise God for his faithfulness as we partner with Fred and Lorraine Thomas and the House of Fellowship in community self-help ministry.
Church Office Hours: The church office will be closed from December 26-30.
Call for New Logo Submissions- The Presbytery is  accepting design ideas for a new logo. We invite you and any creative types in our congregation to consider offering artistic visions that could be incorporated into a new logo for the Presbytery of Santa Fe. They will be receiving designs until February 7th  at which time they will be prepared for a review process at the February Presbytery meeting,
