Also good luck to the 11 Glams swimmers taking part in the
World Out Games in Miami in May.

We are excited to share with you information about the Inaugural Roughies Races (Yarra Roughies) Swim Meet - We are keen to assist clubs to hold Interclub Swim Meets and would love to hear your ideas.

Please note that the National Trophy winners from the 2017 MSA National Championships in the Age Group Trophy – 280-319 years are the Doncaster Dolphins. We incorrectly reported that the Marlins were the winners of this Age group in the April e-news and we apologise for this error.

A BIG Thank you to Archer Talbot
On behalf of Masters Swimming Victoria, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Archer Talbot and congratulations for the work that he has undertaken since assuming the role of MSV President in 2011. Archer elected not to re-stand after 6 years of service. Archer assisted MSV to grow its activities and its relationships, particularly with Swimming Victoria. He oversaw the bid and conduct of a very successful MSA National Championships at MSAC in 2016. He also oversaw the introduction of a new constitution and the move from a financial year to a calendar year for the organisations financial reporting, bringing it into line with the membership year. More recently Archer has been instrumental in trialling multiclass events in Victoria. All of these things have helped make MSV stronger, so thank you again for your contribution, and we look forward to seeing Archer  ‘on the pool deck’, swimming and working with his new club IST. THANKYOU ARCHER!

Welcome to NEW MSV - President Susie Kempson
