Her partner Geoff Robinson wrote a heartfelt tribute to a woman who "loved life” and gave much time and energy to sport, cultural activities and community affairs. Jennie was not only involved in Masters Swimming, but she was also an active competitor in Surf Life Saving. She and Geoff lived in Mackay, where they were originally members of Mackay Mantas before joining the North Mackay Sinkers. Our thoughts are with Geoff and her family and friends.

Vale Ken Phillips
It is with great sadness that Mandurah Masters, MSWA & MSA recognises the passing of Mandurah Masters member Ken Phillips. Ken's contribution to Masters Swimming WA through his technical expertise and endless hours of volunteering on pool deck will be deeply missed. Ken was a life member of Mandurah Masters and he was the WA Technical education officer from 2011 till 2015. Ken also won the National Technical Officer for 2016. Our thoughts are with his wife Gerda and their family. There are some great images from Ken's beach tribute HERE
