Website and Membership
We have a new website! Many months in the making but we are finally there; it has certainly been a learning curve. Feedback is always welcome as a second eye can often spot any glitches before we can. The new website is also a member management tool and for the first time new members and existing members can join/renew paying by card (STRIPE). There are 5 memberships to choose from and you can now join at any time during the year. Fees remain the same.
Existing members will receive a renewal reminder around a month for expiry date, then a second and finally a third. If you pay by Direct Debit, your payment will be allocated against your renewal invoice and you don’t need to do anything. You can request to change your membership to a recurring which means you won’t have to remember to pay, your renewal fee will be taken using the card details previously supplied. Please note DAMA UK do not have any access to card or personal details used when payments are made by card. All card payments are taken through STRIPE.
- Individual Standard - £50
- Individual Standard Recurring - £50
- Student Standard - £25
- Corporate Standard - £350
- Corporate Standard Recurring - £350
Other ways to pay
If you do not wish to use a card you can opt to join but not make the payment. This generates an invoice that can be paid by BACS or cheque (made payable to DAMA UK Ltd) or again if preferred a Standing Order. You can still sign up to pay by Direct Debit if this is your preferred method.
Corporate members can have up to 10 web users, one being the ‘Bundle Administrator’. The BA is able to add, edit or delete users from their organisations from within their profile. Any information from within the website can be shared to others outside of the allocated 10 from that organisation. If you are a corporate member and have not yet been contacted about your bundle, we will get to you soon. For updates on events and to receive news, we advise signing up to mailing list. This is the method we use for members and non-members. Member only news will be issued from the website member list.
All the documents have been moved across from the old site and are accessible in the Members Area. Logins are sent to new members and we are making our way through existing members ensuring all can login without issue. If you are unable to login, please contact us.
The website also allows us to set up registration for our own events, a feature we lost some time ago when the old site transferred to a new server. Please see below for upcoming events and how to book.
If you have any membership queries or experience difficulties with the website, please do get in touch.
Regional Communities of Interest
2019 has seen a growth in regional events and meet ups. The localised meetings have been successful and seem to be easier for people to attend, that includes the day and evening events. See list below for the current status on the communities. The Scottish CoI alternates events between Glasgow and Edinburgh and is growing and the Northern Community is well established.
