We are delighted to announce that DAMA UK has hit a significant membership landmark. For the first time since we were founded in 2003 we now have over 500 members, and our membership is continuing to grow every month. At the end of September 2020 we had 522 members in total. Of these 285 are individual members, while the remaining 257 are named data professionals nominated via our expanding corporate membership.
If you are not already part of our growing DAMA UK family and want to enjoy our exclusive members only resources and benefits, you can join today at: https://www.dama-uk.org/Join-us
The UK Government is requesting feedback and comments which must be submitted by Wednesday 2 December. As you would expect, DAMA UK intends to respond as a body. To coordinate this we are setting up a steering group run by Akhtar Ali, our vice chairperson. We would like to give all our members the opportunity to contribute so look out for further communications in the near future detailing how you can get involved and make your voice heard.
