TechFarms Capital Attends

TechFarms Capital’s staff met with many of our region's business leaders at the 2019 Gulf Power Economic Symposium in Destin last month. The Symposium is an annual signature event focused on strengthening collaboration across Northwest Florida communities and fostering discussions and engagement in community and economic opportunities. IRONMAN Foundation Donating $100K to Build

The IRONMAN Foundation will provide the Panama City's community development office a $100,000 Humanitarian Relief Effort Grant to help rebuild

FAA Greenlights Wing Aviation Drone Deliveries
The Federal Aviation Administration has given its first air drone delivery certification in the United States to Alphabet's Wing Aviation, paving the way for the service to begin commercial package delivery in Blacksburg, Virginia.

NASA is Developing 'Soft Robots'
Two interns at NASA are part of a larger group working on "soft robots" that could be used for exploring worlds beyond Earth. This includes the moon, NASA's next major destination for astronauts.

TechFarms Participates in NSA-PC's Annual
"Month of the Military Diver" STEM Event
In 2015, Panama City Mayor Greg Brudnicki proclaimed May as the Month of the Military Diver. To celebrate this year's event, the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC) hosted 400+ local students to expose them to the exciting world of underwater diving and the importance of STEM to the Navy’s mission. In our next issue, we’ll cover the event with a rare inside look into one of our area’s largest employers.
