Canadian Pacific Holiday Train

Wed. Dec. 11 at 8 pm

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train returns to the corner of 37th Ave NE and Stinson Ave NE - Columbia Heights, New Brighton, and Minneapolis. This stop benefits the East Side Neighborhood Services! HeightsNEXT has helped with the planning for this event since it started at this location and this year we continue to donate toward their cookie sale!

--FAQ--

Do we have to buy tickets?
The event is free, but we suggest at $5+ gift to East Side Neighborhood Services food shelves.  You may also bring food items to the Holiday Train.

The mission of the Holiday Train is to address food insecurity in the communities it stops in. You can learn more about East Side Neighborhood Services' food shelves at https://www.esns.org/metrofoodprograms

Do we ride the train?
No one rides the train (except staff and guests) and no tickets are needed. When the train arrives a 30-minute concert takes place from a car on the train, featuring Meghan Patrick, Tanika Charles and Kelly Prescott!

When does the train actually come?
The Holiday Train’s estimated arrival is 8:00 pm. The concert from the train will only be viewable from the north side of the tracks. Once the train pulls in, it will not be possible to cross to the other side of the tracks.

Where do we park?
There will be no event parking allowed at local businesses near the event. The road will also be closed at Stinson and 37th Ave. NE. Please park on neighborhood streets or take public transit!

Will food be available?
Hot chocolate, cookies and the KCM Eggrolls food truck will be to purchase at the event! A portion of all sales goes to Eastside Neighborhood Services.

Happy Holidays!
