Welcome to our first newsletter!

Read on to see highlights from our first year and exciting plans for the future...
We are open 5 days a week, with daily sessions for parents and children. Attendence at our Stay and Play sessions has increased throughout the year, with over 130 families now registered with us. Our local Health Visitor is based with us every Monday morning, on Fridays we host a session for sensory impaired children, and we have regular visits from our Speech and Language Therapist and the local dentist.
Now that we're in a more central location in Berinsfield, more people are finding us for job searching and general careers advice. Cathy our Employment Coordinator is available 5 days a week, by appointment or drop in. We're excited to see more and more new faces and create new partnerships with local agencies and employers.
Check out our new website.
Thanks to our Oxford University Intern, Rowan Munson for all of his help to get this up and running.

In the spotlight...

In May 2018 we completed our 6th year working in collaboration with Williams Jet Tenders to find the next apprentice. Currently four local people are employed by Williams having completed this programme. with two new apprentices having started in September.
Our forthcoming plans:
  1. Developing our current services to improve quality, with a particular focus on education.
  2. Improving our facilities to attract even more people into the centre.
Finally we'd like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us over the last year. As a charity we are reliant on grant funding to deliver our day-to-day activities and enhance these services with additional events and training.
