THE NET WILL APPEAR had its World Premiere September 13th through October 8th at Mile Square Theatre and it was such a joy. The play featured the amazing Richard Masur and 9-year-old Matilda Lawler, who charmed the hell out of sold-out audiences for four weeks. I couldn't be more grateful to Mark Cirnigliaro who directed the play so beautifully, MST's Artistic Director Chris O'Connor for taking a chance on a new-to-him playwright and the entire creative team who made the show such a success.
We had a slew of great reviews:

Each month I like to give a recommendation for an artist or project that I love. This month I'm going to do two: an audio project and a theater piece.
First up is NEVERTHELESS WE PERSISTED, the beautiful brainchild of writer/narrator Tanya Eby and produced by her Blunderwoman Productions.
NWP is a special audio-first anthology of poems, essays and stories that explore themes of loss, love and finding your own power. Over 50 artists came together to make it happen. I happily narrated a piece called Epiphany by Sandy Mencer.

I'd also like to highlight THE HURRICANE PARTY. This is a brand new play by my pal and fellow Collective member David Thigpen. The Collective is having an industry reading of the play on December 4th. Are you industry? Want to come check it out? Let me know and I'll get you the details. The play features Michael Abbot Jr. (In the Radiant City), Booker Garrett (Trainwreck), Kevin Kane (Inside Amy Schumer), Lacy Marie Meyer (Suck it Up Buttercup), Sayra Player (Uncle Silas) and Naomi Warner (Turtleface).
Love and Thanks!
