This month we were delighted to meet with Japans Minister of Justice, Ms Yoko Kamikawa and Ministry delegates, including Chief Prosecutors of sexual offences. We were proud to discuss the role of our Independent Sexual Violence Advocates (ISVAs) and the crucial support they provide to survivors going through the Criminal Justice System.

The sentence for perpetrating sexual offences has doubled in Japan and Ms Kamikawa is now looking at the UK's innovative ISVA service, their unique qualifications and our success at liaising with the Criminal Justice System alongside survivors. We hope sharing our expertise helps to ensure survivors anywhere and everywhere have access to the best support possible.

We stand in solidarity with women across Ireland and send huge congratulations to everyone who campaigned and voted in support of women's rights.
