Campuswide Honors and Study Abroad on KUCI Radio Show

“I was a guest on Ryan's KUCI radio show, "Get Notified." He made the experience easy, worry-free, and fun! I also walked away with some great tools for improving my department's social media strategy. I would advise my colleagues in the Division of Undergraduate Education to take part in this experience as an exciting way to explore their social media goals and practices.” - Christina Treble, Campuswide Honors Program

Teaching and Learning

Welcome New Faculty

Welcome new faculty! The Center for Engaged Instruction is looking forward to working with you as you prepare to teach your first courses at UCI. We have several resources to help you create effective courses, including intensive workshops, one-on-one consultations, and online resources. Learn more on the CEI website.

Untether yourself from the podium while teaching

As an instructor, there are clear benefits to engaging students while they are working on difficult problems in the classroom. Whether students are analyzing a historical document or working on a physics problem, you may want to visit students, talk to them, and then annotate a slide projected onto the classroom screen. Learn more about available tools for untethered, interactive teaching on the CEI website.
