Learning Assistant Program at UCI
Faculty want to maximize student-teacher interactions in the classroom, but often find this difficult when the number of students soars above 100, 200 or more. The Division of Teaching and Learning is developing a Learning Assistant program to help departments address this issue. Interested instructors can work with their departments to recruit  upper-division undergraduate students in the major, and DTL will help train the students to facilitate effective small group work in the lecture and TA-led discussions.
Learn more about the program on the DTL website.

Upcoming Events

Shakespeare This Summer
The New Swan Shakespeare Festival is dedicated to the investigation and production of Shakespearean plays and relevant theatrical works. This year you can catch productions of Hamlet and As You Like It. Shakespeare’s theatre was a theatre for the people rather than an elite cultural event; thus the work shared is done so to cater to the widest possible cross-section of the UCI and Irvine community.
