Dear friends of PA Culture,
it's been a good summer for the Cultural and Creative Sectors in the Baltic Sea Region. It started with the 3rd PA Culture Project Development Workshop, that took place in Warsaw in June on the topic of Public Space Design. This was a great opportunity to meet the flagships again, learn about their development and share experiences. In the meantime we have drafted new plans and it's our pleasure to introduce you to them.
Annual EUSBSR Forum
We're very proud and happy to announce, that we'll be present at this year's annual EUSBSR Forum in Stockholm, November 8th and 9th. This year's general topic of the forum is "One Region, One Future". In order to continue our work and spread our expertise, we've decided to leave a PA Culture mark on the forum program with a session on Cultural Diversity

Today’s Baltic Sea Region is a pool of a fantastic diversity of people with different cultural, ethnic, linguistic and religious backgrounds. The ten states on the shore of the Sea contribute significantly to the diversity, however the states’ societal composition opens up an even larger diversity. This provides great potential for cross-cultural and cross-sectorial cooperation, that needs to be promoted and activated, also in order to facilitate integration processes more easily. We've invited the cultural ministers Alice Bah Kuhnke (Sweden) and Anke Spoorendonk (Schleswig-Holstein), the Deputy Director of the Council of Baltic Sea States (CBSS) Bernd Hemingway, the director of the research institution European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI) Tove Malloy and two cultural projects to join us for that discussion. If you want to participate, please register here
4th Strategic Project Development Workshop
We're pleased to announce that the next and 4th Strategic Project Development Workshop will take place right after the Annual EUSBSR Forum on November 9th and 10th lunch-to-lunch in the Goethe-Institute Stockholm. A detailed invitation will get to your mailboxes soon, however, we'd like you to save the date, so that as many of the flagships and interested projects as possible can participate. We will continue with a topical focus and besides networking and consulting, we will focus on Audience Development. We are glad to announce that we'll team up with Intercult for the workshop.

Annual Report
We'd like to thank the flagship representatives that submitted their opinions to our feedback survey back in June. Thanks to you we could voice your opinions in our Annual Report, that can be downloaded here. Compared to the last report, we've included a section about the PA Culture Achievements and the PA Culture Outlook. There you'll get a concrete idea about what we're up to next and why the support of Cultural and Creative Sectors are so important in the Baltic Sea Region.
Social Media
We want to use our Facebook Page to make synergies, projects and innovations more visible on the internet. Therefore, we want your pictures and stories: Dear flagships if you have any project videos, pictures, blog entries, we can help you spread them around via our network. Please share your multimedia documentation of your project proceedings directly via mail or Facebook with us. Please also make use of the hashtags #PACulture #BalticSeaRegion and #BSRCulture, that we can use to link all relevant material.
Looking forward to staying in touch with you!
