What does ORGANIC mean? At it's most basic definition, it means that no synthetic chemicals are used.  Instead, organic farmers build good old fashioned healthy soil to grow vibrant plants, rather than rely on chemicals to do it for them!  This is better for the environment and people (us!) and animals that depend on it!  It's overall a more sustainable way to grow the food that nourishes us.

The term "organic" gets thrown around a lot, but there is great value when a farm says it's organic; in fact, we have to be organic certified to use that word at all...and we are!  We are certified through the CCOF (I highly recommend checking out their website - it has lots of good info).  We value the transparency that organic certification provides.
