Come and Experience Downtown Streetscaping Visual Demonstration
The Downtown Reimagined information centre located at 15 Queen Street West will open on Friday November 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. The Downtown Reimagined information centre will be a drop in center to showcase some of the key City initiatives such as the University, Regional Connections, Riverwalk and the Queen Street Transit Master Plan. The store front will showcase a mini mock-up of streetscaping that will provide a visual demonstration of the exciting possibilities for the downtown. The drop in centre, which is being shared with the Region of Peel, will also be used to provide construction updates during the water main replacement capital project by the Region.  This is a great opportunity for local residents and businesses to have a conversation with city staff, obtain updates and information and share their thoughts and address any concerns.
