Beta Product: Announcing the REV2 Module!

As Emrgy turbines continue generating clean energy in the field, we continue to improve and advance the technology, striving to make it as efficient and low-impact as possible. Emrgy has completed the design and building of our REV2 turbine module. This Beta product features an optimized housing and superstructure design and improved efficiencies across the operational envelope, while minimizing the hydraulic impact. The model was built in Chattanooga, Tennessee and will be shipped to Denver to begin the testing and calibration process.

In the Lab

Here in our lab, next-generation power electronics and controls are being developed to hone our ability to diagnose and quantify the performance and impacts of the turbine array from remote locations. Emrgy has engineered a dynamo-meter setup in the ATDC laboratory at Georgia Tech. The testing facility allows our engineering team to better understand the efficiencies of the power take-off system across the operational envelope of the turbines.

  Project Focus

Denver Site Testing

Denver Water, US Bureau of Reclamation, and United Power Electric Cooperation will join Emrgy to conduct final testing of spacing schemes and optimized transition designs. This testing will occur at the testing site in Golden, Colorado.
