Your VR dreams just got a little bit closer. Oculus recently announced that they are slashing prices on their Rift Headset and Touch controller. The Headset will now sell for $499 and the Touch controllers for $99, when they each used to cost a $100 more per item. Oculus executives found that price was the number one reason potential users weren't buying the system, so they decided to lower the price in order to push the future of VR forward.
