Let's Work Together to Prevent Violence on Staten Island

On October 15, community members and leaders joined us to select Stapleton & Park Hill's top health priority as a part of Take Care New York 2020 (TCNY2020). TCNY2020 is New York City’s blueprint for giving every New Yorker a chance to live a healthy life, with the goal of improving the community’s health and to make greater strides in groups with poor health outcomes, so that New York City becomes a more equitable place for everyone.

The Staten Island Partnership for Community Wellness (SIPCW) is tasked with bringing community members together to identify health issues that are most important in our neighborhood and plan for solutions, and has partnered with community organization Island Voice on this project.

Now that violence has been overwhelmingly identified as the community's health priority, we will convene again this Saturday, November 12, to select ways to prevent and address this pressing issue. RSVP via Facebook.
