Our Mission

NAMI’s dedicated volunteers have made it the nation’s leading grassroots advocacy organization to improve the lives and support the families of persons with mental illnesses: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, schizoaffective disorder, and anxiety disorders.
 
The Mission of NAMI-Central Oregon is to improve the quality of life for persons living with mental health issues, and their families through support, education and advocacy.

Community Education Meetings Halt for the Summer 

For the months of June, July & August there will be no mental health awareness and education meetings. 

Meetings will resume in September with the topic being Civil Commitment & Assisted Outpatient Treatment. 

Location and Time TBD.

NAMI-CO offers several support groups and classes to address individuals needs. 
In Our Own Voice
This is a recovery-education program to help end stigma.  People living with mental illness speak to community audiences about their experiences, treatment and recovery.

Meet Marshal!

Marshal will be joining the Bend Police Department's CRT Team one day a week as a therapy dog. 
With his therapy training he will be able to help people in crisis and brighten others days.
