Holy costume contest, Batman!

While the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce cannot hold the annual Sea Witch events this year, it can keep the festival spirit alive this Halloween season. The chamber is accepting online photo submissions for a dog costume contest and an individual/family costume contest until Nov. 2.

Wanna play with a puppy?

I’m a yogi who adores animals. On the glorious Saturday morning of Oct. 10, my friends and I participated in Puppy Yoga!

Instructor Kari Nietert from Dimitra Yoga led the event with 30 participants at the socially distanced outside patio of the Crooked Hammock in Lewes. Her composure was nothing short of miraculous as a passel of puppies darted in and around our legs and arms.

The SPCA will be holding another puppy yoga session Saturday, Nov. 7.

Happy Halloween, boys and gourds!

With their Call for Compassion initiative, Milton Arts Guild members are delivering handmade cards to nursing homes, assisted living centers, senior centers and skilled nursing facilities to bring a little smile and hello to the residents.
