Treat yourself to something special

Starting Monday, June 15 as part of Phase 2, Delaware restaurants will be able to increase seating from 30 to 60 percent of the stated fire marshal’s occupancy limits. Whether you decide to make reservations or stick with takeout to support your favorite restaurants, don't feel guilty about splurging. Treating yourself to a dessert such as 1776 Steakhouse’s exclusive Crème Brulee Cheesecake might even give you good karma!

1776 is one of the sponsors for Cape Gazette's Cape Cuisine page, which also prints in Beach Paper during the season. All of our advertisers have helped us continue to offer free content to readers so please help them continue to offer fantastic food by ordering often and tipping well.

Three exhibits swimming up June 12

Beginning Friday, June 12, and running through Sunday, July 12, the Rehoboth Art League will host its 47th Annual Members’ Fine Craft Exhibition in the Corkran Gallery. This annual exhibition, a longtime staple in the league’s seasonal calendar, showcases a wide variety of imaginative fine crafts that are unique, whimsical, and functional, including such mediums as fiber art, ceramics, metal, wood, and mixed media. The judge for this show is Milford’s Gallery 37 owner Marcia Reed, who will be giving awards for outstanding works in the show.

Also opening this Friday is Highways and Byways in the Ventures Gallery and Painting with Words in the Peter Marsh Homestead.
