Why is it important to participate?

SCAN is the first global assessment of NET care, trying to collect robust data by all geographical areas covering Africa, Asia, Oceania, North and South America and Europe in order to provide evidence in a comparative perspective on the level of healthcare provision to NET patients around the world. SCAN is the first assessment of out-of-pocket expenses of NET patients. SCAN is also the first global effort aiming to collect opinions from the whole spectrum of medical professionals relevant to NETs: general practitioners (GPs), nurses, medical oncologists, endocrinologists, gastrointestinal specialists, pathologists, nuclear medicine specialists, surgeons, hematologists, pulmonologists, radiologists, radio-oncologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, nutritionists.

NET Patients, family members and caregivers, support SCAN!

To improve access to optimal diagnostics, treatment and care, SCAN results will be showcased at medical conferences, published in medical journals, presented to decision-makers in the healthcare field. SCAN data will identify the gaps in access to early diagnosis, treatment and optimal care. No personal data is collected. SCAN is completely anonymous.
