Aogaah Village 15/16 School News

September 2017

If you believe in the power of education, together we can give these kids a chance.

SEPTEMBER 4, 2017 was Fluoride Day!

Each year on US Labor Day (September 4, 2017 this year) Aogaah Cambodia Teachers and Aogaah staff complete a yearly service project of providing fluoride treatment for all the Village 15 & 16 children (enrolled in our school or not)  This project is over-seen by Kids International Dental Service who provides the supplies and trained our teachers to administer the fluoride.

This year on September 3rd, Teachers Navie and Sarath, escorted by Aogaah Foundation staff member Ken walked both villages handing out flyers and speaking with the parents and children announcing the event. Each flyer had a colored tag on it indicating if the child was to come to the morning or afternoon session.

The next day on September 4th teachers Chamroeun and Sarath, aided by teacher Navie and staff member Ken administered the fluoride treatment to almost 100 children.

Thank you, thank you and thank you from all of us to everyone who attended our September 4 Annual Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Mekong Fundraiser.

We had almost 50 guests aboard the Cambo Cruise boat. We need to extend "A HUGE THANK YOU" to Charles for putting on the cruise and his matching donation. Also a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated to help the kids of our school. Because of people like you and your generosity we can all help give these little kids a chance. Our special thanks to all of the Staff at Cambo Cruise that did such a wonderful job. The food, service, and the music was simply outstanding.
