Cambodia Village 15/16 School News
May/June 2018
If you believe in the power of education, we can together give these kids a chance.
Our 4 teachers are the lifeblood of our school.  Not only are they competent educators, they deeply care about the children that they teach.  These 4 young women make a profound difference in the lives of over 150 children a year.
The kids of our village school love to play, sing, laugh, read, color, cuddle, smile, act goofy and do all the things any other kids love to do.  They are no different then any other kids in the world with the exception that they are poor and in many cases do not have the opportunities available to them as do many other kids.  These kids love school and they want to learn.  We thought that maybe you would like to meet a few of the children that attend our school and learn a little bit more about them and their dreams.
Chreng Sopheaktra is 10 years old and has been with the school since he was in Kindergarten.  He is currently a 4th grade student.  He enjoys studying social studies so he can understand much more about society.  He also dreams to be an engineer in his future. His heroes are his parents.
Em Nita is 10 years old and in the 5th grade.  She has been with the school since 1st grade..  She would like to study the Khmer language because it easy to read and write and someday she wants to be teacher.  Her hero is her mother.
Heng Dollar is 12 years old and in the 6th grade.  He has been with the school since Kindergarten.  He would like study science because this subject teaches you a lot about nature and the human body.  He wants to be doctor when he grows up.  His hero is football super star Cristiano Ronaldo
We are blessed with a lot of expats living nearby who help us.  We are also blessed with a lot of people that help our school with monetary and gift donations.  For this we are forever thankful for the difference that you are making in the lives of these kids.  Please accept our sincere and heartfelt thanks.

Thankyou (arkoun!)

- Artie for your continued generous donations of school supplies.

- Bryan Webster, Chris Hendrikson and members of Club Palm Beach, Palm Beach, NSW, Australia for another generous monetary donation!  Thank you so very much.

We hope you will consider a donation to Aogaah Foundation and help us continue our efforts to provide education to these poor, impoverished children.

Now PayPal is making it even easier for our donors to sign up for monthly giving with streamlined recurring payments option.  This is an option that you will be allowed to make when you click on our Donate button.  You do not need a Paypal account to donate and Paypal accepts credit cards.
