On Aug. 5, residents of Clinton and Macomb Townships renewed a supplemental millage to support the library in every precinct! We thank you for your generous support of CMPL and its mission. We look forward to the new and exciting things we have planned for the future, including the opening of the new North Branch in 2021!

Teen Casual After-School Hangout (CASH)
Mon.-Thurs. at 2 p.m. | Zoom
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for a casual afternoon hangout after school. Just because we can't meet in-person, doesn't mean we can't have fun after school. Registration is required.

Book Discussions Online
We miss seeing you at book discussions! But, these events continue online. If you've never joined a book discussion, now is a great time to give it a try. Click the links below to register in advance. All books are available for checkout through CMPL's digital downloads.

Sat., Sept. 12 at 12 p.m.: This group regularly meets at the South Branch, but now you may join us virtually via Zoom to discuss The Woman’s Hour by Elaine Weiss.

Mon., Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.: Join a virtual Books on Tap to discuss Red at the Bone by Jacqueline Woodson.

Tues., Sept. 15 at 10 a.m.: The mystery book discussion group usually meets at the North Branch. This month, they will meet online and discuss The Widow by Fiona Barton.

Mon., Sept. 21 at 6 p.m.: Join us for a discussion of The Girl with Seven Names: Escape from North Korea by Hyeonseo Lee & David John.
Trivia Nights
We are offering a variety of online trivia nights this fall. Teens and adults may participate. There will even be prizes for the winners. Check out the sessions below and register to have a fun game night with us! Registration opens two weeks prior to the event.
