Fun Fact of the Day

Did you know one of the largest public schools in the State of Wisconsin is located in the Clarke Square neighborhood? We are proud of our students and staff at Longfellow Elementary – Milwaukee Public Schools.

Check out this feature OnMilwaukee did on Longfellow in 2018, when the building turned 132 years old!

Photo of the Day

Tejiendo Raices

A mural that speaks across generations and focuses on our values as a neighborhood. The tapestry shows how we use culture as a source of empowerment for our coming of age and then our adult life. From the ojos de dios (eyes of God), to the paper flowers, and the street map, all are tied to the experience of the children and parents of the Clarke Square neighborhood.
