Apple is really working on self-driving cars
Apple CEO Tim Cook has detailed the company’s plans to enter the self-driving car sector. In an interview with Bloomberg, Cook said that Apple is looking to build AI-powered “autonomous systems” for driving vehicles, having shed early projects to manufacture the whole car. 
Somebody invented an AI-powered instant-translator earpiece
An Australian start-up has unveiled an Artificial Intelligence-powered earphone able to instantly translate conversations in eight languages. Sydney-based Lingmo International announced that the earpiece—called Translate One2One and using IBM Watson technology—would be available for purchase in July, for $179 (£140).
Facebook is using AI to uproot terrorist content
Facebook revealed its approach to terrorist-related content, as the social network faces criticism over its handling of extremism on its platform.
In a blog post, the company explained its formula to tackle terror-related material, using a blend of human supervision and AI.
