Become a Climate Reality Leader, and learn to present to audiences about the climate crisis, kick-start initiatives, or advocate for specific policies in countries around the world!

training application and also basic info

A few reasons to attend...
1. Climate Reality Trainings are amazing places to recruit for CCL.

2. Climate Reality prioritizes locals for their trainings. These would be amazing folks to recruit into CCL.

3. Climate Reality Leaders promise to complete 10 Acts of Leadership in order to be accepted into this training

5. It's a great mini CCL reunion.

6. These trainings really energize the areas after they leave. It has done wonders for Denver, which just had a training.

Portland CCL at Portland's March for Science
New volunteers practice talking about Carbon Fee & Dividend

286 postcards written to our members of Congress!
John and Elianne spearheaded a tabling event on the Waterfront as part of the Portland March for Science. The focus of CCL's table was TAKING ACTION.  Several new volunteers got their feet wet sharing information about CCL, explaining our solution, and inviting people to write postcards to their Members of Congress.  As volunteer Anne Smith reported, "People were looking for something meaningful to do, and we provided that outlet!"

Seeing Systems:
Peace, Justice and Sustainability

We live in an interconnected world. Each of us is part of a complex global system, and our daily actions—big or small—influence the system in both healthy and unhealthy ways.

Seeing Systems: Peace, Justice and Sustainability helps participants recognize and respond to the interconnected systems of our world and climate change through a different lens. Together, participants expand their people power and begin to make a real difference for good. Join a NWEI self-led discussion course!

Carbon Fee & Dividend Corner
Welcome to our CF&D Corner! Your place for quick, not so quick, and VERY CLEAN tips on our what we believe to be the first best solution.

Each month, we'll highlight different resources and opportunities for you to learn about Fee & Dividend, which serves as the legislative backbone of the work we do in CCL.

This month, we introduce CF&D as a 3-Legged Stool:
1. Place a steadily raising fee on fossil fuels (at wellhead, pipe, or mine)
2. Return 100% of the revenue (minus administrative costs) to households each month
3. Use a Border Adjustment to stop U.S business relocation and encourage other countries to adopt their own fossil fuel fee.
 HERE's a 1-page summary.
