International conference: ending demand for trafficking and prostitution in Mexico and beyond
Last week, we co-sponsored an event that convened abolitionist activists to discuss Sexual Exploitation: Violation of Human Rights with Comision Unidos vs Trata.

This provided a unique opportunity for frontline service providers, decision makers, youth, trafficking and prostitution survivors, academics and other activists to gather and discuss trafficking and prostitution from the perspective of ending demand. Different legislative frameworks on trafficking and prostitution were presented and best practices exchanged on the national, regional and international strategies on trafficking and prostitution.

Representatives from CAP Intl's memberss Solwodi, Fondation Scelles, Apne Aap and the secretariat participated in the conference, which was hosted at the Chamber of Congress in Mexico City.
