Bigfoot Sighting in Toronto, See This Mysterious Creature on November 20th at the Royal Cinema

Toronto – November 16, 2016

All Canadian family movie, Bigfoot and the Burtons will premiere at The Royal Cinema (608 College Street, Toronto, ON M6G 1B4) on Sunday, November 20th, 2016 at 1pm. Similar in tone to heart-felt feature films like E.T. and Free Willy, Bigfoot and the Burtons is a great Sunday afternoon event for the whole family.

It seems the time is now satisfy nostalgic memories of the 80’s in a modern way, with Netflix’s Stranger Things being such a huge success. Shot in the tone and style of 80’s filmmaking, feel good Bigfoot and the Burtons was created for the kids of the 80’s who now have children of their own. “I wanted to bring back the kind of movies I loved from my childhood for kids and parents to enjoy together,” says writer/director/producer Jupiter J. Makins, who won Best Female Filmmaker Award at the Action on Film Festival in California for Bigfoot and the Burtons.

The film is her directorial and producing debut. After selling her first screenplay, Unknown Caller, Jupiter realized she had to direct and produce if she wanted to truly bring her story to vision. Jupiter didn’t want to waste time practicing on short films or music videos. She threw herself into making the 90-minute motion picture with a “do it to learn it” determination. Without experience to get funding, Jupiter and her ‘lifemate’ financed the micro-budget film.

Bigfoot and the Burtons is currently selling internationally. The film garnered interest in 22 countries before post production was complete. See for yourself why you should be watching out for this Canadian filmmaker on November 20th.
