“HOPE GROWS HERE.” These words on the walls at ESU have stuck with me, and I found them to be true.

I arrived here at ESU after a series of life-changing events that rendered me hopeless. I quickly noticed that the instructors were very empathetic to my plight and collaborated with me to pinpoint what I needed to be successful at reintegrating myself back into the workforce.

The instructors were with me at every stage in the learning process. Their ability to listen and offer the desired help without judgment is what “filled my bucket”.

Now, two months in, I feel my confidence has increased exponentially. ESU is where I needed to be. Being here at ESU has equipped me with the tools, wisdom and knowledge I need to excel in any field of endeavour. And to be honest, I feel ready to take on every challenge the world will throw at me.

Through a lived experience of adversity, I found that success starts with you and only you. I believe ESU can help you rediscover and nourish that missing hope.
