Join Us September 20: Integrated Care Pathway Meeting

Enjoy a light lunch and find out more about Integrated Care career opportunities within the department.

This month we are pleased to host Russell McCann, PhD, psychologist and team lead with the VA Puget Sound telemental health program. Dr. McCann will discuss his experience using technology to augment and provide mental health services (e.g., videoconferencing, mobile apps, virtual reality), opportunities for residents to gain clinical experience using technology, and how technology has been impacting the field of psychiatry.

Tanya Keeble, MD

Dr. Keeble is a clinical associate professor in the University of Washington's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is also residency program director at the Providence Medical Center in Spokane, Washington where she teaches Collaborative Care to residents and medical students.Read more about Dr. Keeble.

Further Opportunities: UW PACC

UW Psychiatry and Addictions Case Conference (UW PACC) is a weekly videoconference series led by addiction psychiatrists Mark Duncan, MD and Rick Ries, MD and clinical psychologist Kari Stephens, PhD, meeting every Thursday from noon - 1:30. 

UW PACC works to expand the mental health and addictions care capacity of health care professionals in remote, underserved areas of Washington.

Following the Project ECHO model, the sessions include a short educational presentation on a psychiatry or addictions topic. The presentations are followed by real-time, in-depth clinical case consultation between the panel and community providers.

Registration is now open for the 2018 APA IPS Meeting October 4-7 in Chicago and the 2018 ACLP Annual Meeting November 13-17 in Orlando. A number of UW departmental faculty will be presenting at both meetings.
