President's Message

This is our final newsletter for 2016. It is hard to believe we are half-way through our NCL year. This year seems to be flying by. Weren’t we just at The Taylor Family Foundation’s Day in the Park? I know that having these fun Philanthropy opportunities to share with your ticktockers are important. I treasure the days I spent with Sara. Our days are filled with so many other events that take us in many directions, but these mother/daughter times are invaluable to us.

Our year has been filled with great events for both mother and daughter. Thank you for all you have done to help make the Livermore Chapter successful. Our chapter is becoming well known throughout our city and this is due to all of your hard work. I look forward to more wonderful times with all of you.

Have a Happy Holiday Season!

Warmest Regards,
Debra Morris

Ticktocker News & Meeting Recaps
Class of 2022

The Class of 2022 met at Chris Lawrence's house on November 15th from 4:00 to 5:30. We had a special guest speaker; Officer Rios, talk to our group about Internet safety and Social Media safety. Our group learned about the importance of knowing what you post on social media is there forever, and making sure you know who is following you. Also, we learned to always be careful when you tag a picture telling people where you are, if people are following you that you don't know. Thank you to our hostess Chris Lawrence for having this meeting at your house and also a big thank you to Officer Rios for teaching us about Internet safety. Our next meeting will be on December 4th where we will go shopping for gifts for charity from the police station tree.

Class of 2021

The class of 2021 met on November 6th.

Our service project or philanthropy project was creating homeless bags. Our class learned about how to take care of our skin from an Arbonne rep. Our delicious food was M&Ms and pretzels.

Thank you to our hostess Deana and Corinna Bartolotto.

Next month we will meet at Tri Valley Ice on December 17th where we will be collecting food, clothing, and toys for Tri Valley Haven.

Class of 2020
We had a presentation on Peer Pressure with therapist Kim Kerr.  We had a really good open floor discussion on types of peer pressure, effects, and solutions for dealing with it.  The meeting included role-playing with issues we were dealing with.
