Starting off 2023 with Intention - Jan. 11, 2023

Hello Fellow Traveler,

Happy New Year! We hope your holidays were enriched by spending time with loved ones, relaxing, and renewing old friendships. Having been on five flights, driven two rental cars, slept in four hotels and two vacation rentals over the past five weeks, we are fully aware of how stressful travel has become. That’s why making our travels more meaningful is our first resolution for 2023. When it takes so much work and money to go anywhere, we want a trip to be not only worthwhile… but to exceed expectations. This year, The Family Vacationist will highlight more bucket list trips and ways to make your travels more meaningful. To start now, please read more...

Plan meaningful vacation in 2023:

  • Is a family cruise your dream bonding experience? Be eco-aware and learn how the cruise lines are making cruise travel more sustainable.

  • With record-breaking snowfall out West kicking off the snow sports season, take advantage of several states’ 3rd to 5th grade Kids Free resort passes.

  • Follow in the camel tracks of the world’s great explorers on China’s Silk Road, a remarkable, bucket list adventure in a country that is just reopening.

  • Eileen Ogintz explores this winter’s top deals and destinations to recommend the best getaways for any family on TakingtheKids.com.

Wherever you're off to, safe there, safe home.
