A Letter from the Chamber President
COVID-19 Information
In collaboration with the above Chippewa Valley organizations, we are putting together two different resources for members:
  1. A Facebook Group has been created as a platform for businesses to collectively get the word out about how patrons can support them during this time. Please join and share relevant information.
    1. If you are a restaurant offering take out or delivery options, please upload your menu to the files section.
  2. A new collaborative webpage is in the process of being created to serve as an information hub.
In order to make the webpage the most informative, we ask that you reply to this email with the following information: 
  1. Your business status – open or closed
  2. If open, please let us know how patrons can purchase/obtain your goods or services. i.e. take-out, delivery etc.
  3. Any specials you are running
We appreciate you and are working hard to lessen the negative economic impacts on our community businesses.

For Chippewa County Small Businesses:

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is working to secure Small Business Association economic disaster funding for Wisconsin small businesses.  Data collection is required to secure approval.  Below you will find a link to the Small Business Association application form used to identify a business that has been negatively impacted.
 
Economic injury is determined by comparing business revenues from last year to this year over the same time period.  For purposes of this form, that would be comparing revenue from last year (1/31/19 to 3/31/19) with revenues from this year (1/31/20 to 3/31/20, estimating the balance of Mar).  This is NOT a loan application to the Small Business Association.  This form supports our state request for assistance.  Once approved by the Small Business Association for Chippewa County, businesses impacted will be able to apply.

On March 16, the 21st Western & Central Wisconsin Annual Wage Survey was sent out. We kindly ask that you participate. This survey establishes an accurate snapshot of over 150+ jobs in our communities. All participants are eligible for discounted pricing on survey results.

March 16: Survey Goes Out
May 15: Survey Responses Due Back
Mid-July: Survey Results are Available for Purchase
