"The Poetry of Places" was just nominated for two 2020 GRAMMY Awards®!

Dear colleagues!

I am so thrilled that my album "The Poetry of Places" was just nominated for two 2020 GRAMMY Awards®: Best Classical Compendium (for the whole album) and Producer of the Year, Classical (for album producers Marina and Victor Ledin). I am immensely honored and so thankful to my amazing team and to everyone who supported this project from its inception!

This CD features world premiere recordings of architecture-inspired works for piano/pianos, toy piano, percussion, voice, and electronics by Andrew Norman, Harold Meltzer, Jack Van Zandt, Hannah Lash, Amy Beth Kirsten, James Matheson, Lewis Spratlan, and Nina C. Young, performed with Joanne Pearce Martin, Cory Hills, and Nick Terry. The CD was recorded at Skywalker Sound by Barry Werger (assistant engineers Dann Thompson and Robert Gatley) on Steinway & Sons pianos (with technician Larry Lobel), mastered by Sean Royce Martin, and released on Reference Recordings (art direction by JoAnn Nunes).

Please check out the trailer and the music video below.
