Dear friends and colleagues!
I am very excited to collaborate this week with the wonderful Villiers String Quartet from Britain, quartet-in-residence at the University of Oxford. We will be performing the rarely played gorgeous Piano Quintet by Frank Bridge in 3 concerts in Southern California this week.
Also, this week composer Nina C. Young's "Kolokol" for two pianos and electronics, recorded for my album The Poetry of Places by me and the wonderful LA Phil pianist Joanne Pearce Martin was broadcast on two radio stations: TONOTOPICALIA in Denton, TX on KUZU 92.9 FM with hosts Louise Fristensky and Christopher Walker and CLASSICAL DISCOVERIES in Princeton, NJ on WPRB 103.3 FM with host Marvin Rosen.
You can hear the Classical Discoveries Broadcast for a limited time here (mp3 available until April 18, Kolokol starts 17:57 minutes into the segment).
