FOR IMMEDIATE PRESS RELEASE: Sunday, June 12, 2016 WNY MUSLIMS' RESPONSE TO THE FLORIDA NIGHTCLUB TRAGEDY WNY Muslims sends their condolences for victims and their families of the tragic mass shooting which occured early this morning at Orlando's gay nightclub called Pulse. We condemn all hate crimes that have been occurring lately in this country and around the world. All groups should be respected no matter what their religion, race, sex, or sexual orientation is. Investigation is still pending so we are not sure if it's ISIS related or a hate crime. However, homophobia must be addressed and given more attention in the media. We must come together in the community and stand up against hate crimes and terrorism. Let's pray for peace and help everyone who has been impacted by this tragedy.
