While our live, in-person concerts at the Ross Farm are on hold for now, we are thrilled to host a live performance by The Young Fables on our very own Ross Farm Facebook page. Find our page on Facebook by searching “The Ross Farm – Basking Ridge” to view the live stream at 7 p.m. this Thursday, April 16. And don't forget to click "interested" or "going" to get a reminder before the show starts.
Laurel and Wes have generously offered to give a portion of the donations they receive to the Ross Farm during Thursday's event! The duo will have donation links on screen during the show - anyone can watch, and donate any amount if you wish! Please note, even if you don’t have a Facebook account, you can enter The Ross Farm – Basking Ridge Facebook in your search engine and the first result should be our Facebook page, which you can then click on to go to the page – it’s not necessary to have or create a Facebook account to view the live stream.
The promising modern traditional country duo comprised of three-time American Idol vet Laurel Wright and Gretsch-endorsed guitarist and vocalist Wes Lundsford stole our hearts when they opened one of our 2019 concerts, and they are on our July schedule for this season. They have had some wonderful live stream events while quarantined at home in Tennessee and they have shared donations made during their sets to a number of organizations, from a hometown Meals on Wheels to some favorite venues.
The Young Fables hail from Maryville, TN. They have already collected impressive accolades including the Grand Prize at the Texaco Country Showdown which landed Laurel on the Ryman Auditorium stage at the age of 16. TYF first engaged and organically expanded their grassroots following while on the road supporting their debut release "Two" in 2017. They've sold out appearances at the City Winery in Nashville and the Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, NC in addition to appearing with such notable acts as Lauren Alaina, Josh Turner, Sara Evans, Chris Janson, Randy Houser, Delta Rae, Liz Longley and Chris Lane.
The Young Fables are gearing up for the release of their feature documentary "The Fables of a Song," chronicling a remarkable series of events that rocked TYF in 2018. Meanwhile high praises from Rolling Stone and THE PLAYHOUSE TOUR (a route of venues and house concerts across America that landed them in Basking Ridge twice in 2019)) are helping to secure the team's spot on the story of country music.
We hope to “see” so many of our friends on Facebook Thursday night for a unique opportunity to enjoy live music together even as we are spending this important time apart.
Wishing you peace and health until we gather again,
