As such, we are limiting physical social contact with others, and our staff is working from home. That does not mean we are slowing all contact. And it certainly does not mean we are shutting down for business.

We are offering the opportunity to tour homes through Skype, Zoom, and FaceTime. Technology also allows us to utilize video to share properties with prospects, which we already do regularly. Real Estate Market Update

According to the February 2020 Housing Supply Overview from the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors, for the 12 months spanning March 2019 through February 2020, pending sales in the Hilton Head region were up 8.7 percent overall. The overall median sales price was up 3.6 percent. Market-wide, inventory levels were down 14.5 percent, amounting to 4.4 months supply for single-family homes and 3.8 months supply for condos. Closures & Cancellations on Hilton Head Island

Please note: the situation is evolving rapidly, and this is not an exhaustive list. Please call ahead to individual businesses to confirm closures or modifications to regular schedules. The chamber will continue to communicate closures from their partners as they receive them:

  • Montage Palmetto Bluff: The property is closed as of March 20th, 2020 until further notice. Please contact the resort directly with any questions.
  • RBC Heritage Tournament: The PGA TOUR has announced the cancellation of tournaments through May 10th including the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing scheduled for April 13-19, 2020.
  • Beaches: Hilton Head Island public beaches are closed. Private beaches remain open.
