Living Links 2019 Wrap Up

Living Links has had a fantastic year in 2019!
We would like to thank all our project partners and supporters who have helped us progress our vision of creating a web of green spaces across Melbourne's south-east.
We would also like to wish everyone a very happy holiday season - which will hopefully include plenty of time outdoors enjoying nature!

Highlights of 2019

We held the second Discover Dandenong Creek Festival in April, featuring the Djirri Djirri Dancers.
We supported some fantastic National Tree Day planting events in July.
We continued our environmental restoration work along the Dandenong Creek and beyond, including revegetation, weed control, litter removal and tree hollow installation.
We worked with RMIT Landscape Architecture students to 'Map the Gaps' across the Living Links region.
We continued to support grassroots action by some of the amazing community volunteer groups working in our region.
We sponsored our first Living Links Ambassador School, St. Louis de Montforts in Aspendale.
We created a set of 15 Connies Cards featuring important wildlife in the Dandenong Creek catchment.
We supported citizen science activities to increase knowledge and awareness of birds, frogs, bats and insects. Photo: Ian Moodie.
