I-90 Corridor Aerospace Expo & Conference Coming
INWAC’s 2016 Spring Conference promises to be better than ever. Scheduled for May 31-June 2 at the luxurious Coeur d’Alene Resort, this year’s conference will be part of a larger aerospace expo hosted jointly by INWAC, the Idaho Aerospace Alliance (IDA), and the American Manufacturer Network (AMN).
The I-90 Corridor Aerospace Expo and Spring Conference event is expected to draw aerospace manufacturers, supply chain resource businesses, government officials, and educators from across the Pacific Northwest. The event will increase the visibility of the aerospace manufacturing capabilities of our region and focus on developing the supply chain through expanded business-to-business opportunities. Speakers include Garon Moreno of BMW’s Aerospace Division and Idaho Lt. Governor Brad Little.
Companies can participate as event sponsors and expo exhibitors in addition to sending key representatives. For more information, contact Bob Didocha, at (208) 503-6313 or

From the Board...
During the first quarter of 2016, INWAC has worked hard to promote our region's aerospace manufacturers and strengthen relationships among organizations in our region. INWAC particpated in the PNAA Aerospace Conference in February and the BCI Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit in April. These events allowed us to showcase the capabilities of our members and develop relationships with prospective customers.

INWAC also recently announced a collaboration with the Idaho Aerospace Alliance (IDA), which will allow the two groups to work together to strengthen relationships among members and leverage their resources to grow aerospace business in the region.

Greg Konkol, INWAC Board Chair, described this opportunity as a natural fit that will serve both groups well. "As INWAC grows to promote aerospace manufacturing, service and support in our region, we are focusing on expanding our network and leveraging talent in Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana."

Garry Hojan, IDA President, expressed support of the collaboration as well. "[INWAC] expressed interest in working with us and the IDA Board enthusiastically responded to the opportunity to expand our network, building strength to support the aerospace industry."
