Open for Business in Pleasanton

Is your business included on Pleasanton’s Open for Business listing? To support Pleasanton businesses, the City partnered with Bludot to create an interactive business listing with mapping features. Businesses are able update your profile to include store hours, specials, and designate special filters to make finding your profile easy. See the listing HERE and click on +List My Business to be added.

Paycheck Protection Program Update

The Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) has approximately $130 billion available as of July 24. As loan applications are made directly with a participating lender, businesses are encouraged to contact an SBA lender if you have not yet applied. August 8, 2020, is currently the deadline for lenders to submit applications to SBA. Find participating lenders on the SBA's website.


SBA issued forgiveness guidance to lenders and the PPP loan forgiveness portal will open to lenders on August 10. Borrowers should complete their PPP loan forgiveness applications and submit to their respective lenders.

California Competes Tax Credit Applications

The next California Competes Tax Credit application period opened on Monday, July 27, with $80 million in available tax credits. Businesses interested in applying can register for a webinar explaining the application process. The deadline to submit applications is Monday, August 17, 2020. MORE INFO

Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC)
License Renewal Extension

The California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) is offering a 30-day grace period for certain ABC licensees paying annual renewal fees normally due by July 31. Under this relief, the last day to pay renewal fees without penalty is August 31, 2020. More info at the ABC website.

Pleasanton Park and Field Rental:
Outdoor Fitness and Activity

To help businesses expand their outdoor health and fitness activities, the City of Pleasanton park and field spaces are now available to rent. This amenity is available to local Pleasanton businesses and non-profits. Click here for details and application.

Pleasanton Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The Pleasanton Emergency Rental Assistance Program is now accepting applications for relief for Pleasanton residents who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents can receive up to $2,500 in grant assistance for eligible Pleasanton households to pay for up to one month of delinquent rent. Applications are being accepted on a first come, first served basis Program eligibility details.
