The California Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program, administered by the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA), opened Round 2 at 8:00 am today, Tuesday, February 2 and will remain open until 6:00 pm on Monday, February 8. Applicants who submitted all necessary documents in the first round and met eligibility requirements, but did not receive a grant, do not need to reapply; applications will be rolled over for consideration in the second round.
The $500 million program is intended for small businesses and nonprofits impacted by COVID-19. Grants range from $5,000 to $25,000. Approximately half of the available funds were awarded in Round 1, with disbursement beginning January 22, and the remainder will be awarded to eligible businesses in the second round.
