2017 - The year of opportunities!

I hope 2017 is off to a great start for all 121 NML Alumni.

There are so many events, courses, scholarships and other happenings to share with you.  I hope you find something that interests you and that will contribute to your leadership development:

NML 2017 Program Launch

Firstly it would be great to have a strong representation of Alumni to welcome and show support for the 2017 participants.

Alumni Breakfast

After speaking at the 2017 NMLP Launch, Ruth McGowan (OAM) has kindly agreed to continue to share her leadership knowledge and experience at a breakfast with NML Alumni on Friday 10 Feb beginning at 7:30am.  Venue, cost and format to be determined by numbers participating.

NML Alumni Committee Recruitment

The NML ALumni Committee is looking for three new members.  I have emailed out information to all but if you have not received the information or are lucky enough to still be on leave and would like to know more - please let me know!

MRCC Council Plan survey 2017

Here is a chance to contribute to the planning for our region:…/Council-Plan-Survey-2017
Take a few minutes to complete the survey or go along to the drop in sessions to help shape the services, facilities and programs offered by MRCC.



Effective Speaking short course

Rostrum will run an Effective Speaking Course in conjunction with MADEC over 6 weeks from Wednesday 15 February to Wednesday 22 March.
The session will run between 7pm and 8.30pm.
The cost of the 6 week program is $150.



Sports Governance scholarship

Are you the President of your local netball club? Treasurer of your chess club? A volunteer committee member of your grandkids' soccer league? Here is an opportunity to put your club in first position for the future.

The Insititute of Community Directors, Australia is offering a scholarship round that's designed to expand governance knowledge and skills within sporting organisations, benefiting our communities from the grassroots up.
