International UNESCO Prizes

International UNESCO Prizes award the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations that work to further UNESCO's goals. All New Zealand nominations for UNESCO prizes must be submitted through the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO, so please contact us well in advance of the deadline if you think you might meet the criteria for any upcoming prizes. Final deadlines are below:

Course: First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis

An intensive course 'First Aid to Cultural Heritage in Times of Crisis' will be hosted in the Netherlands from 31 July-23 August. It is designed to improve emergency preparedness and response to rescue cultural heritage affected by natural or man-made disasters. A limited number of scholarships are available for participants who have been selected for the course and are unable to secure funding.
