EMIGRE & EXILE WITH MATT ULERY!!

Arcomusical is thrilled to invite you to join us for the premiere of our brand new video of "Emigre & Exile" with Chicago bassist and composer, Matt Ulery. 

Emigre & Exile is the most expansive work in our repertoire and will form the foundation of our upcoming album with the same title. Moreover, this is the first Arcomusical recording that features other musicians joining our ensemble. Matt's playful and powerful double bass enrich and enhance our group sound so profoundly that words cannot capture the magic of the tone.

This video premiere will only be available for a few days, as we will continue to develop its final form and re-release it when we celebrate the release of our third album project next season!

Please join us at 2PM CST / 3PM EST on Sunday May 16th to be among the first audience to take in this stunning new work captured in video by the inimitable video company, Four/Ten Media. We had an absolute blast filming this this past Saturday down at the University of Chicago.

ARCOMUSICAL'S ANNUAL DAY OF GIVING: 
GIVE DEKALB COUNTY!

Every May, Arcomusical looks forward to reaching out to our friends and patrons around the country to connect and celebrate the good word of the work that we are doing in pursuit of spreading the joy of the musical bow far and wide. 

This year, Give DeKalb County is Thursday, May 6th, and we look forward to hearing from you! Your generosity every year helps fund the unique programming that we do all year long in performance, composition, publication, education, research, and most importantly, community building. 

Mark your calendars for this special event! We could not do what we do without your support and we are deeply grateful for your generosity on this big and critically important day for our organization. 

We are seeing light at the end of the pandemic tunnel and we are so happy to have been productive and impactful during this past year. We have an album project in process, a wonderful educational residency online, a new video to premiere on May 16th, and what is looking to be a very hopeful season ahead with lots of concerts and community engagements.
