“Language is the blood of the soul into which thoughts run and out of which they grow”.
‒Oliver Wendell Holmes
My blood of the soul comes from China. Being a sociologist, I’m intrigued by how language is embedded in our corridor for life. As a mom, I’m keen on bringing up a bilingual next generation, like you are. I hope our kids will be proud of their bilingual capability, and open up their door to freedom that is only limited by the language.
Here, in the NCLS, we have a mission to keep up Chinese cultural and language education to children and adults of all backgrounds. Do you want to share your thoughts? Do you want to write about the observation of the class? Are you excited about your child’s progress? Do you want to make yourself heard by the community? I am coordinating and editing our best school journal. Please feel free to connect with me!
