Due to the increasing number of trade and investment activities of Czech companies in Japan in recent years Czech Republic decided to proclaim the year 2018 “The Year of Czech Business in Japan”. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo together with partners will organize and participate in many events promoting Czech companies and institutions to their potential Japanese business clients. For this opportunity was created also a special website.
Though the Czech economic presence in Japan is not as big as Japanese in the Czech Republic, it is slowly becoming adequate to the size of our country. The volume of our activities in Japan is on a steady rise and our relations are rich as never before. Our business exchange shows a steady growth on both sides and more and more Czech businesses are discovering Japan, not only for export but also for investment. To achieve success in Japan may sometimes take longer than in other regions but it is definitely worth trying and a little bit of patience.
To better support the effort of Czech companies in this respect, the Embassy of Czech Republic in Tokyo has initiated proclamation of the year 2018 “The Year of Czech Business in Japan”. We have prepared number of promotional events such as trade seminars, business missions, company presentations, participation at various International trade shows across Japan as well as 3rd annual Czech Festival in Tokyo in order to better promote the Czech Republic and Czech companies to potential Japanese clients. For this opportunity we have created also a special website which will contain the list of activities, the database of Czech companies and products present on Japanese market as well as the Supply and Demand section.
