Summer is officially here!
The rains seem to have subsided and the hot warm sun has been radiating down upon us over here in Northern California.
Summer is typically the time of receiving the deep warmth of the sun, letting our bodies take in the rejuvenation of light, water, and ease. Taking time for family, friends and enjoyment. Changing up the day-to-day routines. Signing our children up for camps that have less structures and demanding goals and more space to receive ease, joy, fun and PLAY!
In the mind set of Nature Connection, developing deeper ties to the Season of Sun and PLAY, I would like to offer some simple explorations to assist deepening relationships to all that is around us in the natural world on my blog.
And, I have a wish too for us all: May we all allow ourselves to soak up Summer’s warmth and slower pace so deeply that we can lean into it during the darker times of the year when warmth and ease are not always so readily available.
